Splash!

We took Ruth to her second swimmng lesson tonight. Ruth is enjoying them. While she has her lesson, the rest of us watch for 20 mins, then go get changed ourselves and join her in the pool after the lessons finish.

David and Ruth are really keen on swimming at the moment, and we're all enjoying it. This week and last, we had one of Ruth's schoolfriends along as well. Trying to to keep up with catching three children who all want to jump in the big pool can take a bit of organisation, but the lesson of "don't jump in until an adult is ready to catch you" seems to be sinking in quite quickly.

No pictures from the pool, I'm afraid. They don't allow cameras.

After we got back tonight, David had a screaming tantrum about going to bed. In the end he was just too tired to calm down or listen, and we had to just close the door and leave him. He was asleep in less than 10 minutes. He looks so cute when he's asleep.
